October 30, 2004Helloween
Today, I finally got into the spirit of my holiday; it took me a long, long time and I eventually thought that I would never be into it. I spent the majority of the week stressing about a VB exam with it taking place Thursday evening. Today, well Yesterday, I spent listening to a Halloween Shoutcast, purchasing my black vodka, and donating money to Zombie pumpkins in return for my stencil. I thought about using a Hell Boy, Yoda, Sirius Black but in the end, Michael Meyers is the epitome of all that is Halloween. I'm psyched now for mindpollution's gala, the cemetery on Sunday and giving candy to kiddies. The odd event of the day occured moments ago when three cop cars were parked in front of the next two houses. Two cops were searching for something, walking down into driveways, but skipping ours. After their departure, a kid on a bike came out from our driveway and peddled off the avenue like a bat out of hell. I love Albany.
October 15, 2004Weekend updateFor the first time in a long, long time I have a quiet weekend. I don't have to travel anywhere, I don't have to leave my apartment if I don't want to, but I still have a lot of work to do. My plans thus far are: Next week, I have my first web project for a district to develop. That takes priority over anything else I do. It'll be my first real test as mangler of the intarweb, so I'll be a nervous wreck for the next couple of days. Thankfully, my PMS session is overwith so I can return to just being a biatch instead of ungodly unbearable.
October 06, 2004Like Kool & the Gang...Celebrate good times, come on... Sunday is the day of reckoning - I turn 27. It's an odd birthday so I am weary of stepping out of my apartment, but alas, I need to get my Long Island Ice Tea on so I must. The Plan™ is: Bring yourselves, bring more cowbell, bring your desire to have a good time, but don't bring your dirty uncle geramo, he stained the couch cushions last year.
